Fluke i400s Current Clamp, 400 A ac AC Max

This current clamp is a Compact AC current probe designed to extend the measurement range of oscilloscopes, power analysers and multimeters in industrial environments. It measures alternating current without interrupting conductors and includes a soft non‑slippery overmould handle for safer handling during field and workshop work. Its construction supports use across typical site temperatures and comes with a BNC connector for instrument interfacing.

The probe provides two output levels depending on range: 10 mV per amp in the low range and 1 mV per amp in the high range to match different instrument input sensitivities.

The device maintains usable response from low mains frequencies up to 10 kHz, allowing accurate capture of harmonic and transient components within that bandwidth.

On the lower range the accuracy is specified as 2% Plus 0.015 A for the frequency band noted, providing consistent readings for small to moderate currents.

The unit is rated to operate between 0 °C and 50 °C, permitting use in typical indoor and sheltered outdoor conditions.

It terminates in a BNC connector and can be adapted for direct DMM banana inputs using the optional BNC/banana adaptor.
