Mueller Crocodile Clip


The Muller crocodile clip is designed with a cage spring barrel. It has a cage spring connection that accepts the standard probe needle. The jaw opening can be maximum 7.9mm apart. The material used here is nickel-plated steel clip. Nickel plated brass insert and a gold plated beryllium copper cage spring are used. The current rating is 10A. It acts as a connector. The large versions of these clips, called automotive clips or battery clamps, are made of solid copper. For low electrical resistance, it is used with thick insulated copper cables to make connections between automobile batteries.
