Why should I use a connector housing with this crimp terminal?
A connector housing lets you arrange multiple crimped terminals into a single unit for direct connection to a PCB or wire-to-wire connections. This terminal is compatible with connector housings from the KK 396 range. It comes with a locking tang to secure it to the housing so it won't become dislodged in the event of vibration.
18 to 26 AWG Crimp, Female, Connector Contacts
Molex, the 2478 and 2578 Series connector contacts feature a dual cantilever design. The square post contact area keeps contact with the male pin header through spring-like contact. A locking tang prevents terminal back out once loaded in housing.
