RS PRO Counterbore Set M3 to M10, 12 Piece

This RS PRO 12-piece counterbore set is an excellent choice when you need a reliable set of counterbore and pilot drills in the most commonly used standard sizes. This set includes six counterbore drill bits in sizes M3, M4, M5, M6, M8 and M10, as well as six pilot drills bits.

These drill bits are made from high-speed steel (HHS) for excellent strength and a very high application temperature. The counterbores can be used to create flat-bottomed extensions of existing holes that can then be fitted with flush screws or bolts. You can use the pilot drills bits to start drilling a hole, ensuring the larger drill runs straight and the hole is in the right place.

The set is supplied in a strong polypropylene (PP) case for easy and safe storage. Counterbore holes are used to hide fixings, as well as for aerodynamic purposes in the automotive and aerospace industries.
