A tough and precise 4 flute counterbore for cutting holes into metal or wood enabling cap screws or fasteners to sit flush or below the surface of the workpiece.;Designed to cut an M8 screw hole into the workpiece the 9mm diameter tip is resistant to chipping or splitting and the High Speed Steel (HSS) construction creates an extremely hard, wear resistant counterbore capable of high speed drilling without damage to the counterbore or the workpiece.
