Mechanical Position Indicator
Mechanical devices for reading settings and outputs on machinery and equipment requiring adjustment by means of rotating shafts or lead screws.
Operating use:
To give an exact reading of distance moved by relating the reading of the indicator to the thread pitch of the shaft or lead screw (type dependant on pitch - see table).
To count the number of turns of a shaft (types 001.00 or 0001.0), allowing an operator to set a specific setting to perform a given function.
Fitting Instructions:
Drill 6mm by 10mm deep hole 22mm from centre of shaft to accept rear locating pin
Zero set shaft and indicator reading
Locate on shaft and tighten grub screw
Five digit counter with magnified lens
Clockwise shaft rotation
Impact resistant thermoplastic case
Ultrasonically welded to prevent tampering and dirt ingression
Rear brass bushing with double sealing to IP67
