The Texas Instruments static shift register consist of duel 4 stage serial input and parallel output register. Each register has independent clock and reset input as well as serial data input and output is available from each of 4 register. All register stages are D type master slave flip flop. This registers resetting of all stages is accomplished by a high level on the reset line.
