RS PRO Clip for use with 40 mm Dia. Capacitor Nylon

Need a way to protect your capacitors? These RS PRO mounting clips secure cylindrical-shaped capacitors in place and protect them against harmful mechanical shock.


The clips are easy to fit on the capacitor's insulating sleeve, as they're made of smooth nylon. Once fitted, they reduce the risk of abrasion caused by accidental movement and vibration. You can use them with capacitors of slightly different sizes, as they're designed to expand and compress.


They're tested according to electrostatic discharge (ESD) criteria and meet Electrostatic Control Standards ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007. This means the risk of ESD is reduced to a minimum. You'll find these mounting clips used to prevent capacitors from failing due to mechanical vibration and shock. They're suitable for use with both surface mount devices (SMD) and through-hole (THT) mounting technology.
