The Lapp Counter Nuts with Cutting Edges are designed to cut through the insulating layer of coated enclosures, ensuring optimal EMC contact for effective protection against electromagnetic interference and equipotential bonding. When the locknut is tightened, the cutting edges scratch the coated layer of the housing, creating a secure contact. These counter nuts can withstand temperatures up to +200°C and are suitable for all metric glands used in earthing and EMC applications. Ideal for use inside painted, anodized, or powder-coated enclosures, they are compatible with metric SKINTOP® and SKINDICHT® cable glands in applications requiring electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). They also endure high chemical and mechanical stress, providing reliable performance in demanding environments.
