Elkay Ceiling PIR Occupany Sensor
The Elkay ceiling PIR sensor is an automatic device which controls various power loads through the detection of body heat. Once activated by the detection of moving body heat, the lighting or power source will stay on for the preset period. If body set is no longer detected, the timer elapses and the load is switched off.
The PIR timer has been specifically designed for ceiling mounting and includes spring fixing arms for and easy installation. This unit is small and discrete once installed, either flush or surface mounted using a surface mounting box.
A red indicator LED signifies when timing has been retriggered and when the unit is in its final minute of countdown. The time control is adjustable from 2 min to 1 hour and the unit features a white and chrome bezel allowing easy access to timing, lux and sensitivity controls.
The low wattage loads in particular LED lighting require the Elkay Capacitor (RS - 1363274).
