The Texas Instruments digital temperature sensor is a fully integrated, resistor programmable temperature switch with a temperature threshold that is set by just one external resistor within the entire operating range. The sensor provides an open drain, active low output. This sensor has low quiescent current of 40 micro Amp. The device has a single functional mode. Normal operation for the device occurs when the power supply voltage applied across the VCC and GND pins is within the specified operating range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V.
