The StarTech.com PCIe parallel and serial combo card installs into a single PCI-Express x1 slot in your computer, and adds a DB25 IEEE 1284 parallel port and DB9 RS 232 serial port to your system. The PEX1S1P950 is the latest version of our popular PEX1S1P952 combo card. The controller card features an Asix AX99100 chip and enables you to connect a DB25 device to your desktop computer. The parallel port is ideal for connecting printers, scanners, plotters, point-of-sale terminals, PLCs, scientific sensors, medical equipment or oscilloscopes.
