IDEM GLS-SS Rope Pull Switch, 100m, 2NO/2NC, Straight

The IDEM GLS-SS series emergency stop rope pull cable switch has 2NO/2NC contact configuration. It is compact, robust yellow and has stainless steel housing that protects short conveyor lengths of up to 100m and offers a choice of fittings depending on the application. This switch is designed to be mounted on machines and sections of conveyors, which cannot be protected by guards and unlike emergency stop pushbuttons, it can be activated from any point along the length of the rope pull to provide robust emergency stop protection. In combination with a dual-channel safety monitoring relay, this safety rope switch can be used as an emergency stop device and monitored. This product has a guardian line, which has a positive mechanical linkage between the switch contacts and the wire rope, as well as wire breakage monitoring. Once the rope is pulled, anywhere along its length, the safety contacts are positively opened and the auxiliary contacts are closed. This switch is mechanically latched and can only be returned to the operational condition by pressing the blue reset button.
This switch has an electrical current rating of 2.5A at a voltage rating of 250VAC/VDC.
