RS IP65 Emergency Stop Switch - ADA16E Series (16mm)


This Emergency Stop (E-stop) switch from our own RS PRO brand is designed to fit industry standard 16mm diameter cut-out in panels with a thickness between 0.5 and 5mm. Each E-stop switch is provided pre-assembled with a 1NO/1NC + 1NO/1NC Contact Block with 2.8x0.5mm universal terminals that allow either direct soldering or plug in receptacles. Installation is quick and easy due to the removable contact block and once fully assembled onto the panel the Emergency Stop (E-stop) switch has a waterproof panel sealing to IP65. The E-stop switch has a red 24mm diameter actuator head which protrudes 18mm from the panel, with a behind panel depth of 42.4mm.

Designed to allow easy operation with a thumb or even a gloved hand, simply push to activate and twist clockwise to unlock. The high actuation force (2kgf) prevents accidental touch stopping machines and causing danger or damage.
