RS PRO 83dB, SMD Continuous Internal Buzzer
Producing a crisp and clear sound, these SMD (surface-mounted device) internal buzzers are part of the RS PRO range. They combine low power consumption with a high sound level and a wide voltage range, all in an ultra-compact, lightweight design.
These buzzers can function between 3 V DC and 20 V DC and draw an 8 mA supply current. This makes them compatible with most consumer appliances while being incredibly energy-efficient. The continuous 83 dB tone they produce is loud enough to be heard at a distance without being shrill close-up. Perfect for internal installation in a range of devices, these buzzers measure 16.9 mm across and weigh 2.6 g. They come in a square case and are surface-mounted for simple installation.
They've been handled and packed under the ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 standards for electrostatic discharge. Small buzzers such as this are used in domestic and commercial warning devices such as door alarms or microwaves.
