The Coverguard Rain Softshell jacket has taped seams which means they are sealed with a waterproof tape to prevent water from seeping through the seams, making the jacket more waterproof. The jacket features a high collar, which can provide extra warmth and protection for the neck area. It also includes chin protection, likely to prevent the zipper from rubbing against the chin uncomfortably. The jacket has a central zipper closure, which is covered by a flap secured with Velcro for added weather protection.
