Prescaler option - multiplier programmable from 0.001 to 9.999 (counter and tachometer modes)
The unit may be set in any of three modes: Counter Mode; Tachometer Mode; Time Meter Mode
Counter mode: can be programmed for quadrature, differential, count/direction
Tachometer mode: incoming pulses are counter per gate time, which can be pre-selected. Over speed or under speed can also be indicated
Time meter mode: programmable time ranges and decimal point

Units have a maximum count frequency of either 30Hz or 5kHz depending on setting. Inputs are either NPN/PNP signal or contact closure.
