Evaluation Kit for HFBR-1521Z and HFBR-2521Z Fibre Optic Components
The HFBR-0501Z evaluation kit is designed to facilitate the evaluation of Avago fibre optic devices: Versatile Link transmitter: HFBR-1521Z (stock no. 171-1600) and Versatile Link receiver: HFBR-2521Z (stock no. 446-150).
Optimised for use with 1mm diameter plastic optical fibre, the HFBR-0500Z series of components is ideal for solving problems with voltage isolation/insulation, EMI/RFI immunity or data security. The transmitter (HFBR-1521Z) incorporates a 660nm LED and the receiver (HFBR-2521Z) includes a monolithic dc coupled, digital IC receiver with open collector Schottky output transistor. An internal pull up resistor is available for use in the HFBR-25X1Z/ receiver and a shield has been in¬tegrated into the receiver IC to provide additional localised noise immunity.
