All SCSI buses need to be terminated. This means both ends of the bus get a pull-up resistor construction to eliminate signal reflections that would occur from the physical ends of the bus. This range of SCSI-2 terminators allow a SCSI-2 bus to be terminated directly on the back of a drive inside a system. A through terminator can be used to terminate a drive with only one SCSI interface on the end of a SCSI line, or can be used as a straight through to extend a cable.
