RS PRO DIN Rail Time Switch 110 → 240 V ac, 1-Channel

This digital DIN-rail (Deutsches Institut für Normung, the German Institute for Standardization) time switch from the RS PRO range is an electrical device used to control the on-off mechanisms of industrial equipment, lighting components and heating applications.

DIN-rail time switches have several applications. You can use them to conserve energy by turning on power only when it’s needed. This prevents heaters or lights from being left on unnecessarily (usually overnight). They’re also used by manufacturers to manage autonomous machinery and elsewhere to control automatic barriers and doors.

This model has a clear LED display and DIN-rail mounting, which provides more flexibility than panel-mounted switches. It measures time in hours and has dual 12/24-hour display options. A simple reset and manual override make this interface easy to navigate.

This robust piece of kit has an impressive 6-year battery life and is suitable for use in a variety of environments and applications.
