TE Connectivity for use with Universal MATE-N-LOK Connector

A range of Cable clamps / Strain Relief for Mate-N-Lok Connectors. Each article constitutes half of a cable clamp, it is thus necessary to order two of them to facilitate assembly for a complete clamp. The material for these MATE-N-LOK Strain Relief's is a UL 94V-0 or UL 90V-2 rated Nylon.
Stock numbers 680-1903, 710-0090 , 864-9439 are cap housing adapters which anchor the receptacle housing strain reliefs to the housings and prevent distortion of the strain relief when screws are tightened.

Assembly requires two self-tapping screws 3.5 x 10 to 3.5 x 16 (these screws are not supplied)

The TE Connectivity 640713-1 is a strain relief and insert for use with the Universal MATE-N-LOK II series of connectors. This 2-way strain relief is made from Nylon in a natural colour.
A cable clamping insert comes with the strain relief. This piece can be used for additional adjustment for small wire bundles. Alternatively, this piece can be discarded.
Strain relief is essential for supporting the join between a rigid connector and a connection, such as a wire. The 640713-1 provides extra durability and increases the lifespan of the connection.

Note: cap housing adapters are required when attaching strain reliefs to a cap housing. Two adapters required per housing. This strain relief part number represents one half of a strain relief. Two parts are required per connector.
