Use this Phoenix Contact M12 termination resistor on fieldbus and data exchange networks for enhanced signal integrity. It prevents the rebound and reflections that cause signal distortion, giving you a faster, more reliable transmission.
Five copper contacts plated in nickel and gold ensure strong conductivity as well as resistance to corrosion and decay, while threaded mating and a screw termination method give you quick and secure connections. An IP67 (ingress protection) rating means the unit is dust-tight and waterproof.
This termination resistor is made of highly durable TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) to withstand impact in tough industrial environments. It is suitable for CANopen (Controller Area Network) and DeviceNet networks, which are widely used in applications such as onboard automobile systems, medical equipment and industrial control. A rating of UL (Underwriters Laboratory) 94 V-0 means this component is flame-retardant and any fire stops burning within 10 seconds.
