The nickel-plated brass glands are suitable for use in harsh environments, for example, high and low-temperature extremes, UV exposure, or contact with corrosive liquids.

Conduit glands offer a method of sealed entry protection for conduit, which is used for cable management and protection. They are used alongside electrical conduit when used for:
