Complete 4mA to 20mA Loop Powered Field Instrument with HART® Interface Evaluation Board
This is a complete smart industrial, loop powered field instrument with 4mA to 20mA analog output and a highway addressable remote transducer (HART®) interface. HART is a digital 2-way communication in which a 1mA peak-to-peak Frequency-Shift-Keyed (FSK) signal is modulated on top of the standard 4mA to 20mA analog current signal.
The circuit uses the ADuCM360, an ultralow power, precision analogue microcontroller, the AD5421, a 16-bit, 4mA to 20mA, loop powered digital-to-analogue converter (DAC), and the AD5700, the industrys lowest power and smallest footprint HART-compliant IC modem.
For these non-cancellable (NC), and non-returnable (NR) products, Terms and Conditions apply.
4mA-to-20mA Current-Loop Communication
Current loop systems are used in electrically noisy industrial environments for sending analogue sensor data over long distances of 300m or more.
