Vishay NTC Thermistors 0.5W 640 series

Negative Temperature Coefficient Thermistors (NTC) are semiconductor resistors whose resistance, at zero dissipation, decreases when the temperature varies either by the joule effect, with the ambient temperature or through a combination of the two. Measurement and checking of the temperature (thermometer, thermostat, sensor), current draw limiters and temperature compensation circuits for transistor circuits are some of the main applications for thermistors.
