Natural Rubber Sheets

Rubber – a polymer material with excellent elongation and shrinking capabilities – is utilised to make natural rubber sheets for various manufacturing and engineering processes. Natural rubber sheets resist abrasion, corrosion and tearing probabilities, making them suitable for a range of uses, being soft, supple and very flexible.

What are natural rubber sheets used for?

Rubber is a suitable insulator material, and these sheets are often necessary for industries with electrical equipment. Natural rubber sheets are also known for their sealant properties, and are used to protect applications and machinery from liquid spills such as oil, fuel, diluted acids, water and ethylene glycol, which can cause damage. Natural rubber sheets are easy to cut and mould into a desired shape or form thus offering flexibility and customisation capabilities to the user.

Types of natural rubber sheets

Natural rubber sheets are available in different sizes, diameters, thicknesses, lengths and dimensions. Recycled natural rubber sheets are common in world-class lean manufacturing plants where environmental sustainability is a priority.
